Sodium Hypochlorite Filter Backwash

Powell offers a plate and frame filter backwash for de-watering backwash discharge from filter-aided systems. Plastic wetted parts eliminate the need for neutralization. Reuse water and air drying produce a pH balanced dry cake ready for disposal. Filter Press System

  • Recessed polypropylene filter plates with gaskets.
  • Porting arrangements:  all types including open discharge.
  • Automatic closing device:   pneumatically operated, factory set, simple one lever close-stop-open control in a compact control box. No electricity required.
  • Fabricated Steel Framework: 100 psi maximum operating pressure.
  • Accessible with 25" clearance from bottom of plates to floor.
  • Side Bar Covers of stainless steel or phenolic material.
  • Double Acting hydraulic cylinder with rod cover.
  • Modified Epoxy Paint for superior corrosion resistance.
  • Automatic Plate Shifter included (not shown).
