Powell Filter Press System
Powell now offers a plate and frame filter press for de-watering the backwash discharge from our filter-aided filter systems. Plastic wetted parts eliminate the need for neutralization. Water washing and air drying produce a pH balanced dry cake ready for disposal.
Features:
- Recessed polypropylene filter plates with gaskets.
- Porting arrangements: all types including open discharge.
- Automatic closing device: Pneumatically operated, factory set, simple one lever close-stop-open control in a compact control box. No electricity required.
- Fabricated Steel Framework: 100 psi maximum operating pressure.
- Accessible with 25" clearance from bottom of plates to floor.
- Side Bar Covers of stainless steel or phenolic material.
- Double Acting hydraulic cylinder with rod cover.
- Modified Epoxy Paint for superior corrosion resistance.
- Automatic Plate Shifter included (Not Shown).
