The optional Acid Scrubbing/Water Supply Module is designed to scrub all vented sulfuric acid fumes with water. Since this system is a 24/7 operation due to vent requirements, two pumps with automatic transfer is provided along with an appropriate level transmitter and level alarms. 

All equipment is mounted on a structural steel frame and thoroughly inspected and tested for proper operation of the instrumentation.

The water source in this acid scrubbing module can be supplied from the cooling tower (used to cool the dilute sulfuric acid), untreated city or well water, or from DI or RO water supply systems.  Filters are supplied on the cooling tower module to remove suspended solids less than a nominal 1 micron in particle size.
