Powell Phosphoric Acid Dilution System
 The Powell Phosphoric Acid Dilution System features multiple stream blending with automatic shutdown from loss of raw materials or dilution error. The control system is programmed to instantly self adjust the dilution system in the event of flow rate variations. If the flow rate cannot be automatically corrected, a deviation alarm will stop the dilution process. This automatic stop feature protects the pumps and product quality. The Phosphoric Acid Dilution System has a remote screen display, and uses magnetic flow meters to dilute concentrated phosphoric acid to any lower strength.
The packaged system uses Allen Bradley/Rosemount controls, Durco control valves, and Allen Bradley PLC logic controllers. The systems provide a consistent final product, allowing tight product specifications and reduced loss of raw materials.
