Powell Fabrication & Manufacturing, Inc. is a privately held company, founded by Clarence and Evelyn Powell in 1964.

Today, under the second-generation leadership of Duane Powell, the Powell Sodium Hypochlorite Processing System represents the company's core technology. It is supported with the design, development, and production of a host of complimentary product lines including equipment and emergency scrubbers, platform loading and unloading equipment, and valve closure systems for use with chlorine and other gases.

The company is structured with Duane Powell as CEO/President and Norman L. Winterstein, Jr. as COO/CFO. A strong management team, representing each of the company's critical functions, determines the strategic direction and implements the activities to achieve the team's collective goals.

The credentials of our management team and staff include an optimum blend of education and experience - MBAs, BAs, BSs, CPAs, and PEs, with numerous certifications, as well as senior executives with years of hands-on leadership experience in areas such as Finance, Sales and Marketing, R&D, Materials Management, and Operations. Our Engineering and Production staff members, many of whom have been with the company their entire professional careers, bring a level of experience and expertise difficult to match.

Powell technology is widely used in the United States and Canada, where more than 100 of the unique Powell machines at major installations account for as much as 70% of the bleach produced in North America.

On a broader scale, Powell, is well-known and respected in the worldwide Chlor-Alkali industry and several major producers in Central and South America, Africa, Australia, the Middle East, and Europe rely on Powell technology to fulfill the world's increasing demand for bleach.
